Community and Economic Development revitalizes communities, develop and rehabilitates affordable housing, promotes sustainability, attracts investments, and encourages entrepreneurship. DSI can help identify best practices for communities and organizations; provide strategies to aid local organizations through research and project analysis using surveys, community meetings, and other outreach efforts; and initiate solutions to community economic problems through exploring local needs, planned projects, and project funding, helping to build long-term communities.
If you are an individual entrepreneur with a new business idea, an EDA searching for ways to grow jobs in the community, a group of local investors working to organize an economic development project, or regionally based organizations that take a comprehensive view of development – DSI can assist you.
Junior Achievement (JA) strives to inspire and prepare young people to succeed by planning for their futures and making intelligent academic and economic choices from kindergarten through12th-grade. Community volunteers are dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills to own their economic success, plan for the future, and make smart academic and financial choices. We strive to ignite a spark in young people to broaden their concepts of work and life opportunities by focusing on core content areas, including work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Our mission is to inspire young people to realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century.
